When does the sea allow offshore work?

A retrospective view of continuous offshore windows, month by month and year by year. Change the limits to recalculate every hourly start across the entire series.

02 / REPLAY

Two-point replay · 2024

This replay adds an illustrative 6-hour handling phase in Brest and a conventional 24-hour offset before the site criterion. The offset is neither a towing duration nor a towing weather assessment.

Hourly periods to review

Consecutive reference hours are grouped; the longest periods appear first. This ranking does not recommend a departure.

05 / METHOD

What this demo represents

This historical screen does not recommend a departure. The 6-hour Brest phase represents illustrative preparation and handling, not full assembly. Wind comes from a regional ERA5 grid point and does not measure conditions at the terminal. The fixed 24-hour offset between phases is neither a towing duration nor a towing weather assessment. Tides, currents, nearshore sea state, vessel response and operational limits are outside the model. The site north of Roscoff is fictional and does not represent any real project. ERA5 grids: waves 0.5°, wind 0.25°.
